What this treatment involves.
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. Once it has healed, a custom crown is fitted on top.
Implant treatment is planned carefully around your bone, gums and bite. I assess your health history and digital X-rays before recommending whether an implant is the right option for you.
When this treatment may help.
- One or more missing teeth
- Loose or uncomfortable dentures
- Difficulty chewing on one side
- Jaw bone changes after tooth loss
- A tooth that cannot be saved
Your treatment, step by step.
- 01
Consult and plan
I review your health history, examine your mouth and take digital X-rays to plan the implant position.
- 02
Place the implant
The implant is placed in the jaw under local anesthesia, with a focus on precision and comfort.
- 03
Allow healing
The implant integrates with the bone over a few months. Temporary options can be discussed during this stage.
- 04
Fit the final crown
Once healing is complete, a custom crown is made and fitted to restore function and appearance.
What I use, and why.

Digital X-rays and careful measurements guide the position, angle and depth of the implant.
